I’m Monica Calderon

I design digital and print products for businesses and non-profit organizations. Originally from the Philippines now based in beautiful Burnaby, BC, Canada.

Born and raised in the Philippines, I finished my Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. I’ve worked in animation, printing, publishing, education, and my dream company, Philippine Daily Inquirer in the Philippines. As a Fillipino Canadian immigrant in Canada, my career path led to a slight trajectory towards financial technology and management. Art and design is in me, so I went back, took additional training in BCIT and now this is where I’m home.

I am a proud member of the Growing Room Collective as Graphic Designer and Web Manager. I am part of the team Lara Spence Web Design and Business Writing as graphic and web designer and WordPress developer.
